MLE AIR CARGO

Malpensa Logistics Europe

MLE was founded on 7 October 1996 and began its operations in 1998 in conjunction with the opening of the new terminal at Malpensa 2000 airport. In February 1999, it acquired part of the business of the previous cargo operator, SEA, initially dealing with around 50 airlines. 2002 was the year of the transfer to the definitive headquarters of Cargo City, the largest and most modern platform for air cargo in southern Europe.

The city of goods extends over a surface area of around 1 million square metres including areas intended for collateral logistics activities and value-added services such as storage, processing, order preparation and intermodal railway terminal. From 2003, cargo and mail handling operations also began at Linate Airport. Since October 2009, the company, through the subscription by the SEA group of 75% of the shares, has been acquired by BCUBE Spa (formerly Argol), an integrated logistics operator operating globally which, in 2008, was the sole shareholder of Argol Air Cargo of Rome (now FLE), thus starting a process of integration and synergy between the two largest Italian airports. BCUBE Air Cargo, integrated logistics, at your service.
