Corporate Social Responsibility

BCUBE is aware of having an impact on the environment and the people around it. For this reason, it undertakes to conduct its business responsibly and in accordance with its own principles of fairness and honesty.

BCUBE sustainability path stems from the concept of ESG issues as opportunities and is based on the introduction of concrete practices aimed at increasing workers’ wellbeing, reducing the corporate carbon footprint, and enhancing the level of interconnection and collaboration with local communities and institutions.

BCUBE aims to publish the Group’s first Sustainability Report, reporting year 2024, voluntarily anticipating by one year the obligation imposed by the current regulations.

Sustainability pillars
for BCUBE

Environment

BCUBE is constantly committed to protecting the environment: responsible purchasing, informed consumption, proper waste management, impact measurement, reforestation projects and biodiversity protection: these are some of the concrete actions implemented.

Social

BCUBE recognizes the centrality of people, for this reason it is committed to measuring and improving the business environment and working conditions of its employees, as well as being active in projects of social interest and charitable purpose.

Governance

BCUBE has a sound structure, yet flexible and adaptable to change. The organization and good management of resources are key to the success of any project.

Support

BCUBE believes in the strength of the community and in the important role that a company can play within it. We are therefore proud to support associations and realities engaged in various areas of social in the places where we operate. Over the years we have chosen to support the following volunteer organizations:

  • AMACI PER BENE, in support of the Pediatric Surgery of Bologna
  • VITAS, which provides support and attention to families with people suffering from incurable diseases
  • PULMINO AMICO, involved in the transport of cancer patients to the various diagnostic and treatment facilities

Respect

“Give to have” is another of the key rules that has inspired BCUBE in developing its reference world. It means being aware that we have to say thank you, but also that we can help to rebuild what has been taken away from the environment. This is why we are engaged in a multi-year project in collaboration with ZeroCO2 which involves the initial planting of 800 new fruit plants for reforestation in Guatemala; over time, the number of plants will increase and over 15 years will compensate over 200 tons of CO2 and support the farming families who care for them. Support also provides for specific training programs on organic and regenerative agriculture.

Ethics

BCUBE believes in the strength of the relationship and in the right acknowledgment of the commitment of all professionals involved in the business development project, according to the inescapable principle that “people come before business.”
Our Code of Ethics witnesses this commitment, as well as the concrete initiatives we promote or participate in, collaborating with customers and suppliers, such as the Progetto Panchine (Bench Project) shared with Baker Hughes to promote fairness and inclusiveness in the workplace.
